Oil Paintings by Glenda Ownby
"Glenda is my cousin and I wasn't really aware of her
painting until she elected to show them to me. I was amazed. I've
done a lot of art shows and been exposed to some of the best and Glenda ranks
right up there. I was so impressed that I decided to include her work on
my website. These are oils on canvas, not prints, but I would surmise that will
not hold true for long. Her work is that good, enjoy!" Charles
Neil
By working with a variety of
artists, different techniques are shared. Glenda has found that the key to
accomplishment in art is in the sharing. Sharing good times and helping
others is valuable in return. Someone once said, "In order to
experience true success, you must enjoy the journey." Above
all...give God the glory.
Glenda M. Ownby, a life-long resident of
Augusta County, Virginia, works at Hollister, Inc. in Stuarts Draft, VA as a
production operator. She is a member of Blue Ridge Chapel Church of the
Brethren where she serves as the Camp Representative for Brethren Woods.
She is a graduate of Wilson Memorial High School and attended Blue Ridge
College.
